Digital Microscope Camera
DMC Ie is a megapixel camera that allows you to
capture 12-bit/channel RGB or B&W images for more precise scientific
measurements. You'll capture highly-accurate colors, sharp edges and crisp
shadow detail every time. The Polaroid DMC Ie captures incredibly sharp
images usig a 12.15mm CCD, larger than a 2/3 inch video format CCD. Many
other cameras use only a 1/2 inch or even 1/3 inch CCD, which often means
fewer pixels and lower resolution. The images are incredibly sharp and
present more of the information you actually see. The DMC Ie's enhanced
preview mode functions at a rate of up to 11 frames per second. This makes
it easier to frame and focus while preparing your final image. Managing
images is a snap with the DMC Ie. It offers rapid transfer speeds of 4
MB per second, enabling you to move files without compression. You can
digitally add a micron marker and adjust brightness, contrast, and size.
Plus, you can save images as TIFF files and store them at 1600 x 1200,
800 x 600, or 400 x 300 resolution for more flexibility. The DMC Ie attaches
to any light microscope with a standard C-mount adapter in a matter of
seconds. It's compatible with PC, Mac and TWAIN-compliant software programs
like Adobe Photoshop and Image Pro Plus. The DMC Ie also features a dual
SCSI-2 connector so you can attach multiple digital cameras to a single
computer.
